FAQ

What is the difference in an indie film and one made in a foreign language?

An independent film is usually made by a single filmmaker who makes his or her own decisions about everything.

A foreign language film, on the other hand is usually produced by a larger production crew.

They often hire actors, writer, and directors from abroad.

They also hire professional translators so that the dialogue sounds natural.

Is Hollywood bigger than Bollywood?

The biggest challenge for any film producer is how to make sure his movie gets noticed by audiences.

Problem is, there are many films competing for viewers' time and money. It's hard to stand out among the rest and get noticed.

But what makes a movie successful? What makes an actor or director famous? Or a director? Talent is not enough. It also requires luck. The best actors may be the best, but they will not succeed if they are writing bad scripts.

Two main types exist when it comes down to film: large-budget blockbusters or small independent productions. Blockbuster movies cost hundreds of millions of dollars to produce and distribute. These movies are often made by large studios that want their films to reach as many people as possible. However, these films with big budgets appeal mostly to older viewers.

Independent films are generally smaller-scale productions that may be financed by individuals or groups of investors. These films focus on niche markets or cater to particular tastes. These films are usually easier to market and produce. This doesn't necessarily mean they are cheaper to watch. Many indie films can be difficult to find.

The question is whether we need both types. Do we need blockbuster movies, or smaller independent films? Hollywood is larger than Bollywood, in my opinion. That's because Hollywood produces almost twice as many movies per year as India does!

What happens when my film doesn't perform well at the box office?

A film that does poorly at the box-office could lead to many problems.

First, it is possible to decide to modify how you market the film.

You may also choose to rework your script.

Third, you might decide to add new characters.

Fourth, you might decide to remove some characters.

Fifth, you might choose to cut scenes.

Sixth: You might decide the film was not worth making.

Is the Hollywood Walk of Fame still free?

Yes! Yes! For photographers, you need a permit. They cost $15 per head.

You must have a valid identification if you plan to visit the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

If you are under 18, you must be accompanied by someone 21 years old or older.

The walkway can only be entered after 10 AM.

Once you are inside, you will not be able to leave the walkway without paying another time.

Cameras are not allowed on the walkway.
