How to get a Hollywood Walk of Fame star
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce established the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1960. The HWOF is located at 6233 Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles, California. It's made up of 2,711 stars, which are embedded in the sidewalk on Hollywood Boulevard. Each star is a symbol of someone who contributed to the production of motion pictures, television, radio and theater or other aspects popular culture. There are currently 1,922 living persons listed on the HWOF.
To become a HWOF member, you need to submit a name to Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. They then submit your details to the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs. After being approved, you will be issued a certificate stating your name, date and place of birth. It also includes information about your occupation, occupation and category.
