What is the difference between an Indie Film and a Foreign Language Film?

A film made independently is typically done by one filmmaker, who makes all the decisions.

However, foreign language films are typically produced by a larger production group.

They often hire writers and actors from other nations.

They also hire professional translators so that the dialogue sounds natural.

Is Hollywood bigger than Bollywood?

Producing a movie that is well-received by the public is the biggest challenge for film producers.

Problem is, there are many films competing for viewers' time and money. It's hard to stand out among the rest and get noticed.

But what makes a movie successful? What makes an actor or director famous? Or a director? You need to have talent but also luck. The best actors may be the best, but they will not succeed if they are writing bad scripts.

Films can be divided into two categories: blockbuster films with large budgets or independent productions. Blockbuster movies are expensive to produce and distribute. These movies are often made by large studios that want their films to reach as many people as possible. But, these high-budget films are more appealing to older audiences.

Independent films are smaller-scale productions that may have to be financed individually or by groups of investors. These films usually target specific markets and appeal to specific tastes. They are generally less costly to produce and market. However, this doesn't mean that they're always cheaper to watch. In fact, most indie films are very hard to find.

The question is: Do we really need both types of movies? Do we need big blockbuster movies and small independent ones? Well, I think that Hollywood is actually bigger than Bollywood. Hollywood produces twice as many movies per annum than India.

How many movies makes Hollywood each year?

Each year, Hollywood studios produce approximately 3,000 films. Yes, that's correct, three thousand!

These films are marketed by Hollywood, which spends billions of dollars. They spend millions on their production. They spend millions to promote them. How many end up being released in theaters?

The answer is most likely between 200 and 300. So what happens to all those other 2,700+ films? They are either distributed as direct-to–video releases or simply left in storage.

However, not all of them are unavoidable. Some of them are available for distribution via Netflix and Amazon Prime, Hulu Plus or iTunes, Google Play, and others.

We should see more of them. Why aren't they released in theaters? Because they are too expensive to make.

If they were more affordable to produce they would be released into theaters.

Here's where you find me. I will help you find the best possible way to release your film in theaters.

You'll learn how to maximize your return and increase the chances of your movie being shown in theaters.

Let's face facts...

Getting your film into theaters can be quite difficult. The process is complex, lengthy and involves many legalities.

It might also cost you a lot before you start.

Even worse, your window of opportunity to distribute your film is very limited.

There's not enough time between the moment a film is completed and its theatrical debut.
